Maria Lloyd

Marketing Manager, RFVM

I joined the group in early 2024 and am so glad that I did! I’ve met some wonderful people and learned so  much. It’s my goal to make small documentaries, but I’ve started off by making small videos on how to use DaVinci Resolve.

You can check out my YouTube channel, here.

Kevin Baughan

Programme Manager, RFVM

I joined the club after a career in telecoms and technology. I’m very much enjoying the opportunity to progress from holiday videos to more substantive pieces.

Here is a short film from my work in 22/23.

Brian Hibbit

Long-standing member

I originally joined RFVM at the time that video was just becoming available as an alternative to 8mm film (that dates me!). During my membership I have done most jobs from programme secretary to chairman and although I am less active than I used to be I still enjoy participating in club activities.

Here is the link to my YouTube channel.

Kathy Gledhill

I’m an excellent amateur still photographer, but have no experience of video.  I’m not camera shy, and have been on television three times.  Love travelling and adventure.  So much to do, so much to see – so little time….

Nick Elsworth

I’ve always been interested in film and cinema. However, I didn’t have a firm grasp of what goes on behind the scenes. I thought the group’s Introduction to Fimmaking course was a great opportunity to improve my skills and meet some like-minded people.

Charles Elsdon

I was exposed to the mechanics of cinematography at a very early age. Later I became hooked on photography. When photography and video went digital, and the cost of the moving image dramatically dropped, I jumped into the world of moving image and have been doing it ever since.

David Elsdon

I have recently returned to the world of film, and am currently working on a long-term project.
