Adrian is a Director of Photography based in London and has more than 15 years of experience working on TV documentary & feature film. Growing up in a house full of cameras, photography and filmmaking has always run in his blood. Adrian has worked in very diverse environments - from remote towns in Alaska and the Norwegian Arctic Circle via big cities like New York to abandoned places such as Chernobyl and Bannack.
Adrian will discuss his journey of becoming a freelance DoP and his work with production companies such as Netflix, ITV Studios & Discovery Science. He will also be talking about how equipment has helped develop his career and his experiences of working in the film and TV industries.

Samuel Gridley and Luke Kaile
Sam and Luke cover their journey making Criminal Audition from their kitchen tables to a global audience - and all the challenges they faced in order to help anyone who may decide to take on the challenge themselves. This explores their roles in making the film: Luke as the writer, producer, lead actor, and Sam as a writer, director but also their companionship in the years where nothing was happening and it was just them, their script and a will to carry on!
Criminal Audition comes out in the USA/Canada next week on the 13th of October and the UK on the 26th of October (on iTunes, Amazon and Sky Store). Here's a link to the trailer

Tues 4th May SPEAKER: David Crute - Life As A Steadicam and Aerial DOP David Crute is a DoP / Steadicam operator with more than 30 years experience in the film and television industry.

Tues 1st Jun AGM & Film challenge - theme animation

Minimum AGM Business. Your challenge is to make a film of any length on any subject which is primarily animated – this can be computer generated, stop motion or anything else including a hybrid of animated and live action, but should have some element of animation involved in it.s
The deadline for submissions is 31st May (Bank Holiday Monday!) for showing on 1st June

Bournes Cup - Best of the Year (Max 15 mins) to be judged by Dave and Jan Watterson'. Films submitted for this competition must have been entered into an RFVM competition at some time during the group year (ie during lockdown).
