History
Reading Film and Video Makers (RFVM) has a proud history. The group was founded in 1957 as the Reading Tape Recording and Cine Society in the days of audiotape, 35mm colour slides and 8mm cine film. Members migrated to videotape in the mid 80’s.Â
In the past 20 years computerised digital technology, YouTube and Vimeo, have revolutionised things. Members of RFVM now enjoy the most sophisticated, accessible and affordable filmmaking ever.

To enable, encourage and support those with a common interest in filmmaking to:
