Tues 15th Sept OPENING NIGHT
COURSE: week 1
Introduction to filming course WELCOME AND WELCOME BACK! Memberships hopefully prepaid. Old friends and new members congregate to welcome the newcomers, understand their needs, and enjoy some nibbles. Course starts and others discuss script ideas for green screen event, as well as equipment needs
Tues 22nd Sept COURSE: week 2
TECHNICAL DEMO
SOUNDS GOOD!
Members join with course members. Member David Goddard will lead the evening sharing his knowledge of audio, gained from recording many live events
Tues 29th Sept COURSE: week 3
GREEN SCREEN TECHNIQUES
Members join course members to practice green screen skills. Script ideas will be discussed at opening night, as well as equipment needs
Tues 6th Oct COURSE: week 4
THE GOLDEN AGE OF FILM
Course continues while member Henry Farrar presents the growth of the BBC film unit from its beginnings in 1936 to its demise in the late 1990's
Thur 8th Oct GATEWAY TROPHY TRIANGLE COMPETITION Our annual competition against Staines and Bourne End hosted by Bourne End at SL8 5SX at 7.30pm

GUEST SPEAKER
Course join others to listen to Tim Stannard, LACI, and 4 Star BIAFF film maker, presents and discusses some of his films.
Tues 20th Oct COURSE: week 6
THE CURRIE CUP

Course windup with screening of new members Intro Films and the Currie Cup, 4 minute film competition. Also presentation of course certificates
Tues 27th Oct PRACTICAL CHALLENGE
FILMING DIFFERENT POV's. In groups, we will film teams of 3 people "in conversation". To keep this interesting, different camera angles must be considered. Scripts to be planned in advance.
Tues 3rd Nov GUEST SPEAKER BLUE PETER : BEHIND THE BADGE. Producer, Director and Cameraman Alex Leger talks and illustrates his experiences whilst making 600 films for Blue Peter. Signed copies of his book available on the night.
Tues 10th Nov THE GROSVENOR TROPHY Our annual competition for summer project films (max 15mins) made by club members
Tues 17th Nov FILM Screening INSPIRATIONAL ONLINE FILMS and recent practical results. We watch, learn and discuss a variety of short films from Vimeo. Also, the results of the Green screen evening, and the POV evening.

Writer/director/producer Harley Cokeliss visits us
Tues 1st Dec PRACTICAL CHALLENGE FILMING AN ADVERT. Always good fun, we work in teams to create a short advert, and see the results in the new year

Tues 15th Dec GOODBYE 2015 + Christmas fun Join us for nibbles including some surprise fun and games

Tues 5th Jan GUEST SPEAKER DIRECTING WORKSHOP. Dann Emmons of Poseidon Studios, share his tips on Writing and Directing, in a workshop style evening
Tues 12th Jan PLANNING for practical PLANNING FOR MAPLEDURHAM FILMING. With 2 scripts selected , teams are allocated for our Mapledurham Location Shoot, and preparations made. Plus results of our adverts made in December
Tues 19th Jan Competition night THE BURKE TROPHY for the best ten minute film or video made by a club member who has not previously won a club competition (max 10mins) plus THE CAVERSHAM CUP for the best one minute film or video
Tues 26th Jan GUEST SPEAKER Cameraman Mike Clarke returns to entertain us with his often humorous tales of life as a freelance camerman
Tues 2nd Feb ON LOCATION FILMING EVENING MAPLEDURHAM. This week we meet at Mapledurham House.

Tues 23rd Feb LIGHTING THE SCENE In preparation for the next two weeks, we watch some tutorials, then practice lighting set ups
Tues 1st Mar PRACTICAL
FILM TRAILER PART ONE
Over the next two weeks, we will make a trailer for a film, with NO AUTO ALLOWED. All filming to be done using manual settings. This takes longer but the end result is much more cinematic. The LESS experienced to do the filming with guidance.

Tues 19th Apr Technical evening We watch and learn from a variety of on line tutorial films. All members encouraged to send a link to the programme co-ordinator 2 weeks in advance of this evening.
Fri 22nd Apr PREMIERE NIGHT We invite our friends and families to see the highlights of our year and present
our awards at the Reading Golf Club
Tues 26th Apr Planning Summer projects Script writers put forward their ideas for summer projects
Tues 3rd May AGM AGM and results from our Film Trailers made in March and perhaps April practical
